Chesterfield Township, Michigan -- April 18, 2000 -- Construction is to begin on a new 28,340 square foot automotive dealership in Chesterfield Township, Michigan for Michael Johnson Chevrolet. The dealership, located on 23 Mile Road at I-94, is expected to be open for business in the fall of 2000.

The Garrison Company of Farmington Hills, Michigan is the design/builder of the dealership and Prizm Project Development, Inc. of Troy, Michigan is the construction manager.

The design of this new dealership was initially created by L+A Architects of Troy, Michigan, and is one of General Motor's "Brand Image 2000" dealerships being used as a prototype for Chevrolet dealerships nationwide. This design was developed to enhance product visibility and to establish a consistent Chevrolet dealer image.

The Garrison Company is a highly respected design/build firm that was established in 1954. The Garrison Company has provided industrial and commercial clients with services including planning, design, engineering and construction.
